I am a small, responsible breeder of Shetland Sheepdogs with a studied
knowledge of the breed. I also know what I want: selective parents to
develop characteristics that are desirable in the breed. There are rarely
more than two litters per year and Sheltie parents are carefully chosen
only from those who display those attributes and are cleared of genetic
disease predisposition. I am a Canadian Kennel Club Registered Member in good standing of purebred Shetland Sheepdogs.
My first objective in a selective breeding programme is to produce that perfect show/performance puppy to carry on the line I have developed since 1987. KINSHIP puppies are bred for intelligence, disposition and sound bodies. Depending on the breeding pair, puppies may be available in any of the standard colour variations: tri-colour, sable and blue merle.
I will only place puppies in pet homes with carefully screened people. In the past, I have turned down people who I didn't feel had the right motives, or love, or circumstances for a lifetime commitment to that puppy as a family member. This policy has rewarded me many times over with the reassurance of knowing the best owner - puppy match has been made. I frequently receive photos of and letters about now aging pets that are still with their very special families, are in good health and are "leading the good life".
I provide a comprehensive written guarantee of health, and a six-generation pedigree, so you can be confident of a puppy's physical well being, and know where your puppy comes from. All of my puppies are provided with first shots at 8 weeks old, are de-wormed, receive a health check from my Veterinarian, are identified by microchip and are always fully registered with the Canadian Kennel Club.
If you are committed to owning a top-quality Sheltie and are capable of making the commitment this type of dog deserves, please consider a puppy from KINSHIP (REG'D) SHETLAND SHEEPDOGS. Reservations are recommended.
